Jotzi Privacy Policy

Overview

Jotzi is a reminder companion app. The app lets you create reminders, notes, lists, calendar items, templates, and saved info. Jotzi is designed to keep your data on your device and under your control.

Data stored on your device

Reminders, notes, lists, calendar items, templates, saved info, and app settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not sent to any Ocoee Studios server. Jotzi does not have a user account system or cloud sync service.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

Jotzi can optionally read health data from Apple Health, including sleep, steps, mindful minutes, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and blood oxygen. This data is read-only — Jotzi never writes to Apple Health. Health data is used only to display wellness context within the Companion section of the app. Jotzi requests your permission before accessing any health data, and you can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings. Health data is not sent to any server or shared with any third party.

Apple Watch

Jotzi includes an optional Apple Watch companion app. The Watch app receives your active reminders from the iPhone app via WatchConnectivity so you can view and act on them from your wrist. Reminder data sent to the Watch stays on your devices.

Subscriptions and purchases

Jotzi Pro subscriptions are handled through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. RevenueCat is used to verify subscription status and manage entitlements. Ocoee Studios does not collect or store payment information. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies to subscription processing: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Notifications

Jotzi uses local notifications to deliver reminder nudges at scheduled times. Notifications are scheduled on-device and do not go through any external push notification server.

Data export

Jotzi Pro includes a data export feature that lets you back up your reminders, notes, and lists as a file on your device. Exported data stays on your device unless you choose to share it.

No sale of personal data

Ocoee Studios LLC does not sell, rent, or share Jotzi user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Children's privacy

Jotzi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

Ocoee Studios LLC may update this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
